Analyst/Technical Writer

Job Description

We are looking somone great to work with fantastic client of ours. The Technical Writer will have the opportunity to work with efficent team consisting of Product Owner, Developers, Marketing to create documentation for specific Data Security Service for Cloud infrastructure users.

The writer will be responsible for white papers, knowledgebase articles, user guides, and installation guides for a variety of audiences ranging from Engineers to CIOs. We are looking for candidates who are highly organized, can work independently in a fast-paced environment and produce multiple deliverables with frequent deadlines. Candidates should have the flexibility to learn new products and technologies quickly and have the versatility to move from solution to solution as needed. An ideal candidate will have a strong interest in innovative solutions to documentation challenges in the new era of computing and IT.

Responsibilities

Writing technical documentation related to service for a variety of audiences ranging from developers to CIOs.

• Work with project team to develop, plan, gather, analyze, write, edit Technical documentation, including Integration Specs, API Reference Manuals and help marketing team with content for technical white papers (so other techies can understand how this service can be used and integrated to their systems).
• Interview subject matter experts and review product specifications in order to generate clear, concise documents what would make sense for end client.
• Update tens of service API Reference Manuals at Github.

Job Requirements

• BS/BA and a range of experience of 4+ years
• Firm understanding of integration processes and various integration methods
• Excellent written communication in English is a must
• Basic knowledge of data principles and concepts to support data quality and integrity
• Strong knowledge of HTML
• Experience with lightweight markup language Markdown is a big plus
